"Monster Truck Madness-July/2001"

Went to check out the Monster trucks at race city yesterday (July 11/01). I wasn't expecting much but I'd have to say they put on a good show. There were five trucks there. Maniac, Jurassic Attack, Haywire, Sheer Insanity and Wild Thing. Now Wild Thing is named appropriately. He put on a spectacular show. Marvin Anderson can drive this rig. He went for a some nice donuts on pavement right off the start and flipped the truck on its lid. Wow. It was spewing fuel all over. They got a tow truck to flip it back. His crew filled up the truck again and he started back up and continued the show doing jumps over the cars. Unreal. Sheer Insanity put on a hell of a show as well. He did a perfect doughnut on the pavement (mark is still there) The other trucks also did some great jumps with sick air. The show also included some figure eight racing with Lisa and Jimmy in the run. They both did a great job. Lisa has the red/white squared cady (#14) and Jimmy the big brown car (#16). Jimmy ended up taking first place. Way to go! There was also a jet engine car. What a machine. They lit it up with some clunkers parked behind it. It smoked the bleep out of them.
A good show on a great day.
Now, I only have one problem. I WANT A MONSTER TRUCK :)
