"Maclean Run July 2007"

After this winter's mods, we decided to head out to Maclean Creek with our buddies Scarrow and Dave C to test out the Knight. ( I'll be updating the resurrection pages and specs in the very near future ) . We figured we'd camp out the weekend and do some good ol wheeling... We hit the trails on a gorgeous day and covered a lot of ground with just the two trucks....Man, we were moving..... We did several trails ... the truck's new suspension worked well . We needed to get use to the softer 3 stage susp. The scenery was spectacular... we came across some wild horses which was really cool... passed by them slowly and they just watched us :). We hit mud, hills, off camber stuff... even new areas we had never touched on before... It was unreal how on one of the trails there were down trees everywhere.... It must have been from the previous years rain storm... Wow!!!! The day was going great. Robin and I were yapping away in the truck as we were cruising .. all of a sudden BAM!!!!! We came to an abrupt stop. We hit a tree stump that was sticking out on the trail... Didn't even see it as we were having so much fun. The stump caused some good damage. Bent the beadlock..one flat 44" bogger, bent the king coil rod and crushed the headers. What a drag , as the truck was working great !!! and this damage was basically caused because we weren't paying attention.... oh well... Our buddies Scarrow and Davec headed back to camp to get us some air and tools to fix the damage so we could get out of there.... After a few hours , the truck was put together enough to drive out!!! That ended the weekend but we had a blast.... I have some video which I will put together a little later on... Below are some pics of the day
