The First "Transformation"

Thought I'd put some pics showing the change that the "White Knight" has gone through.
In 2000 it had a K5 body. We had decided to change to a one ton frame and figured that since we were going down to the frame we might as well change body. It was quite an undertaking. I've taken many many pics and posted some of the them below. We started Jan.15/01 and ended ( not really finished yet) just before May long (May 18). There are over 600 man hours on this truck in that time frame. The only parts left from the original "Knight" is the engine, diffs and a brake proportional valve.
All I can say it was worth the effort. :)
