"Killer Cut Line"

Time for a wheeling trip. It didn't turn out like we hoped .It had been raining for quite a while and it was cool. First time we camped at Hunter Valley. Got there Thursday . The kids brought out their toys- Jen had her quad and Steven had his Honda CR125. We were looking to make this weekend a family wheeling weekend. Some friends arrived on Friday . First outing was to be Killer cut line. We heard about it and thought we should try it. Wolf359 and friends brought us to it and a few of us gave it a go. It looked nasty and steep. Four of us went half way up through the deep washed out ruts. On the last rut the Knight hit hard and almost blew a bead. Not much left holding on. If you listen the second clip below you can hear it. Also check the pics below. The second part was very steep . Only Wolf359 tried it but wasn't able to make it. It was wet and really slick. We decided not to push our luck with that bead. We all went back down. We decided to go back to camp to check the bead when it started to hail. Steven on his dirt bike and Jen on her quad went ahead. When we caught up to them on the side of the road, Steven was walking his dirt bike. His engine had seized. That pretty much ended our wheeling weekend. Camped for another day in the rain and hail and headed back home. Still was fun though :).
