"Mclean Shakedown June 2008"

Went out for a day run with Scarrow and Mud On Tires..... This was a little shakedown to make sure things were working rightbefore going to Highriders at the end of this month...

It was our first trip out in close to a year ,felt like a newbie.. was nervous and excited ..truck camper and buggy loaded... lets go guys ..Of course I forgot to get some extra fuel so off to the fuel station ,of course I will be late ..30 mins ..shit.The guys were awesome ...no complaints ..sweet..The sun was shining ..We
unloaded and off we went ..Scarrow and Theresa the leaders..Myself and Steven ...Mike and his dad ..
The trucks all have different wheel bases and track widths...so it made it very interesting ....in some places the wide tracks won.... some times the narrower track was victorious...

I had some issues ..melted plug wire... .and the tranny got hot with some of the slow crawling we were up to.. rob was the doctor with the plug wire and Mike even stripped some header wrap off his sweet buggy to help this other old guy out...Lol ...
Coming though an area ,looked up ahead ,thought I saw a rock ledge it turned out to be snow  wow !! Man the weather was glorious...the trails were surprisingly dry ....I have seen the trails much deeper with mud holes...
Scarrow rocked like always ,Mikes buggy is awesome and that SBC screams..nice .
At the end of the day the trails started to open up and Mike and I opened up the engines a bit whooho..git`up...need for speed baby!!!!Scarrow was not racing because his stack isn't here yet.

Mike and I also tried out our nitrous set up .also .muahahahaha!!
It was a great day ..I believe everyone had a great day.
Oh mike... is dear old dad co piloting at HRC ? I think there will be a couple of tires off the ground that weekend..

I guess we should post up our next run in the future EH!!!!!!!
I have to get in the garage and get to work...12 more sleeps......
