TRUCKS GONE WILD

Whew! Dude!!!!! What a weekend of wheeling ….none stop action…ripping it up..

Well it all started back in Feb of this year 2008..Matt Steele contacted us wondering if his crew could fly up from Orlando Florida  and see what Canadian wheelers are all about EH!

Well, we took on the challenge.

First challenge was finding a location to hold this event for the CANADIAN visit of TRUCKS GONE WILD….

We had a few location in mind but for several reason we chose Lee Shonert`s Birch Trail Farm,…the home of the legendary Tough Trail Challenge   www.safarioffroadpark.ca .

Now how do we go about lining up a group of wheelers who all got along???? lately it’s been a tough one ….

 So we drew up the gang of names….. There were a few ups and down since a couple of buddies sold there rigs and didn’t get theirs together, but we kept focused ….and it all came together.. The perfect match up was born for this weekend of madness …DUDE!!!!! Alberta’s finest for sure.

The weather forecast was  hot and sunny great …WHEW!! Cause I do not like rain .

The guys on Vancouver island can have the rain.LOL…

We got the Knight up and running again…everyone worked hard on their rigs to make the event..Hats off to those hardcore wrenchers…

We ended up at Lee’s late Friday afternoon to see what and how everything was .

Lee greeted us with his friendly welcome smile.

The TGW crew show a few hours to scope the park… we had a few….beers ,,dude LOL

Everything was ready to go ….now who and how many rigs are going to make it …Theresa , Steven and myself went to sleep in anticipation of who is going to show,,

Chad was the first Southpaw, Roadkill and sherockin …now I lost track of who showed up next ..( an age thing)…The perfect lineup

ROADKILL,SOUTHPAW,SHEROCKING,JAYROD20,SPODY,BRONCOBABE,

SUPERLES,QUASIMOTO,DORIAN,LAST BUT NOT LEAST DALE

Oh and Theresa , Steven and myself….The knight…..

The crew had arrived ..everyone got introduced. And off we went right to gnarly Bills gate …The boys and girls gave it all they had…. no one held back….Trails where widened and new trails formed and named…as you guys will see at the tough trail challenge.

Just like the old days everyone helping each other ..a glorious weekend .

Huge thanks to everyone ,Lee ,the TGW crew, all you crazy wheelers and winch bitches ,,,lol

It was a privilege and an honor to have wheeled and partied around the camp fire with you guys

Going down in my memory book….dude for sure …Well I could go on for ever.
